Lauren + Keith Wedding

Last weekend, we meet up with Lauren + Keith for their wedding at The Bridge Building in downtown Nashville; but it wasn’t just a normal Nashville Spring wedding weekend. We had a freak SnowPocalypse the night before! Somehow though, the sun was shining, the roads were clear, and while it was terribly cold, we took every second of good weather we could get!

Katie + Will Wedding

Last week we headed to downtown Nashville to capture Katie + Will’s wedding. The weather leading up to the wedding pretty rough — it was a week of cold, rainy, & drab. So when the wedding day forecast said it was supposed to be bit chilly but clear skies and no rain, I fist pumped the air in celebration.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Cathedral of the Incarnation, formals at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, and the reception at The Bell Tower. The day was simply perfect, and it was so much fun getting to capture Katie + Will’s beautiful wedding.

Anna + Parker Engagement

I love getting to a shoot early, maybe grabbing a coffee, and sitting in a space. I want to see how the light hits a location, what interesting lines and landscapes can I utilize to give my couples as a backdrop. What little corners exist that can create an intimate space to make my couples feel more comfortable?

I was able to get to last Sundays shoot a little early and do just that. I met up with Anna + Parker at the War Memorial and I have to say, they did incredible. They were admittedly nervous, and feel awkward in front of the camera. I assured them they are not alone in feeling this way, and that there were going to be moments that felt awkward, or unnatural, but that sometimes those feelings create the best moments!

Mary + Joe Wedding

Last weekend we headed downtown to capture Mary + Joe’s wedding at The Bell Tower in Nashville. I don’t know how to articulate how great this day was!? It was simply perfect; Mary was surrounded by the coolest, and dare I say, prettiest bridesmaids in the game. It was clear that all of them were there to support Mary, and celebrate her on this amazing day. She was never alone, always surrounded by her people, and we loved witnessing that.
