Laura + Andrew gathered together for a beautiful August wedding at The Barn at Sycamore Farms in Arrington Tn. Somehow in the hottest month of the year here, they managed to have a day that was somewhere in the high 70s?! Truly unheard of, and made for an amazing time to be able to capture some formals outside.
Laura + Andrew were surrounded by friends and family on their incredible day, and the amount of love and wonderful stories we got to hear, from the night of the rehearsal dinner, to the wedding day itself, were so special. Penny Haas and her team pulled off an incredible setup and nailed every detail. It's always such a privilege to work with an amazing vendor team!

Last weekend we drove out to The Barn at Fire Fly Lane for Carly + Davids intimate spring wedding. The previous evening Carly + David had hosted their friends and family at their home, for their rehearsal dinner. It was a lovely time of everyone getting to connect and celebrate before the wedding day itself. The entire weekend was under a severe weather watch, and while eventually the weather did open up on us, we made it all the way to the ceremony before it happened! The skies stayed clear allowing us to have a wonderful first look, formals, and family photos without having to dodge a downpour.
Carly + David took the whole day in stride, with circumstances that could have ruined someone else’s day, they choose to stay present, focus on one another, and their friends and family, and as you can see from the smiles, the laughs, and the room full of people, it made all the difference. It was a really special day, and we’re so happy we were able to be a part of it.

Fall weddings are our favorite! Last weekend, we had the honor of capturing Korrie + Danny’s wedding day. The weather brought cool, overcast skies and even a bit of rain, but we embraced every moment. We had the privilege of heading downtown to the Virgin Hotel in Nashville to capture Lexi + AJ's beautiful black-and-white wedding. We met Lexi + AJ last year through Lexi's mom. Some couples just click instantly, where the energy aligns immediately, and you know it will be an incredible wedding with them. We immediately knew that with these two, and we were not disappointed! From shooting their engagement session to the rehearsal dinner to capturing their gorgeous wedding day, each occasion was a joy to experience with them!
We had the privilege of photographing and coordinating Colleen + Holland's wedding. It was a picture-perfect day, with Fall on full display in the decor and the weather. Colleen + Holland were married on family property, surrounded by an intimate mix of family and friends. We love weddings where our couples narrow the focus of their guest list to keep it intentional and meaningful, and Colleen + Holland were no exception. We had a wonderful day with everyone, and we can’t get over how beautiful everything turned out.

Shannon + Cecil held their wedding at one of our favorite intimate venues, CJ's Off the Square in Franklin. Although it was a typical sweltering summer Tennessee day🥵, Shannon + Cecil were a dream to capture despite the heat! Somedays, the small, boutique, beautiful weddings hit so well, and Shannon + Cecil’s wedding was no exception. 😍

We had a super fun time hanging out with Reagan + Patton for their downtown Nashville engagement shoot. We started out at Hotel Noelle for drinks at the bar (we always highly recommend drinks before a shoot🥂). After that, it was time to hit the streets! We wandered all over the hotel/business district, and it did not disappoint; from alleyways to old-school architecture, we hit it all!
Jessie + Jamar was our first Nashville wedding of the summer! This means that Nashville is in full bloom 😍 and also means that it was a humid heat index of 105º🥵 Despite the intense temps, it was a picturesque day! Jamar sporting a luxurious white jacket, next to Jessie’s stunning wedding dress, with the most beautiful train and deep-set pockets. This dress is one of our favorite wedding gowns this season!
We met Lexi + Nash in downtown Nashville for their engagement session! We love it when our couples book an engagement session before their wedding. We get to know one another and get our dynamic down before their wedding. We started with Lexi + Nash at Centennial Park and ended the evening with drinks at Rarebird Rooftop Bar at Hotel Noelle. Hyunjin + Brian were married at Clementine Hall last weekend. Despite some rain in the forecast, it turned out to be a beautiful day, not just with the weather, but with Hyunjin + Brian. Brittany + Matt were married last weekend at the lovely Ruby Venue on West End. May often has so much rain in the forecast, so we were crossing our fingers on both hands that we'd have a beautiful dry day. It turned out to be absolutely gorgeous, everything about Brittany + Matt's wedding was perfect. Here's hoping every other wedding this year is a good as this one! Man, what a gorgeous day we had with Alex + Corey for their stunning wedding at the Estate At Cherokee Dock! Everything was in full bloom, from flowers to greenery, and while we had to dodge some raindrops at times, we managed to have an amazing time and capture some incredible shots of Alex + Corey's beautiful Spring wedding day.
Last weekend we headed out to shoot Rachael + Zach’s wedding at Germantown Inn. We've been friends with Rachael for several years and met Zach for the first time when they joined us in our box suite at the Nashville Soccer Club.
Photographing a friend's wedding, whether they're in the industry or not, is special. It communicates a certain level of trust and safety with that relationship. You get one shot to tell the story of their day as we highlight their union and the aspects they value most for their wedding. I love what we captured because there were so many intimate moments between friends and family. It was a beautiful day, brought together by many talented people who know and love Rachael + Zach.

Allison + Terry celebrated their wedding at the Rustic Elegance venue in Woodbury, Tennessee. The weather was perfect and the views absolutely stunning, with a hint of Fall colors still holding on to the trees. Allison + Terry had an intimate wedding surrounded by close friends and family. We were thrilled to capture such a special and memorable occasion for the lovely couple!

Busy + Charlie had what we call in the industry, a flat out banger of a wedding day. Now, every Wedding has its little hiccups, or unexpected events, its a lot of people, a lot of moving parts, etc. Busy + Charlie had those normal things on their big day. However, in terms of all the important stuff, all the stuff you’re gonna remember, the weather, the speeches, the dancing, the “Recession Special” IYKYK. All those things were literally perfect.
Even during the formals, a big wedding party can be hard to wrangle. Busy + Charlie had the best crew. So fun, so ready for photos, and such a good time. We simply could not have asked for a day to go any better. We are so excited to release this blog preview of Busy + Charlies gorgeous wedding day!

We met up with Melanie + William at their Columbia venue, The Mulehouse. We had the pleasure of capturing their beautiful fall wedding with both photo and video. Although it was an overcast day, the leaves were full of gorgeous colors and the vibe was perfect. One of our favorite things about their wedding was seeing both Melanie + William being happy but a little shy and reserved at the beginning of the day before they saw each other. However, when they finally locked eyes at the altar, the way they lit up, kept hugging, giggling, and KISSING 😘 before the officiant announced it! It was a truly sincere moment that we loved shooting! 😀

Kymberly + Daniel had the most incredible fall wedding! Everyone was in high spirits, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and every piece of the day was seamless. We are so happy with how this wedding turned out and are excited about sharing their wedding photo blog! We had the best planning and execution of the day with Silver Celebrations, it’s always such a gift to have incredible vendor teams to partner with on weddings. So thankful when that happens!

This weekend we met up with Lauren + Kirby to celebrate their wedding day at Clementine Hall. We got to partner alongside Vision In White Events which we know is always gonna make for a great day! Lauren + Kirby are both Lawyers and have incredibly demanding jobs. As I got to know them more over our first shoot together, I learned very quickly that they are each others reprieve, from their very demanding jobs. It was clear to see, they bring each other peace, and rest. What a gift to have that in one another, something that was confirmed in their vows to one another, and in the speeches that followed at the reception.
