We met up with Kymberly + Daniel a couple of weekends ago to capture their engagement shoot. We connected out in Lewisburg at Daniel’s childhood home. With a long family history, we were able to use his family’s historic home and farm for the session. It was peak summer temps but we made it happen and captured some really beautiful moments together.
I headed out to the Parthenon to capture a golden hour engagement session with Brittany + Matt. We had such a good time! The night ended up being perfect weather wise, with a long golden hour that made for some fun shots playing with shadows and direct light. Theres nothing like a little walk around the park at sunset to make for an awesome session. Enjoy this preview of Britany + Matt!
We could not have had a more perfect Fall morning when we met up with Lauren + Keith for their Engagement Session. They brought their pups Scout and Ollie! It was an awesome time strolling through Centennial Park, getting to know one another a little better, listening to some music, and enjoying the morning as we captured some fun photos.
Thursday Morning I headed out to Centennial Park to meet up with Will + Katie for their engagement shoot. I. Love. Engagement shoots! When it comes to my couples, I love getting them in front of the camera before the wedding and letting the dynamic unfold and develop between us. It’s such a valuable time to get to each other a little better, and to see what works and what doesn't work for couples when they’re in front of the camera.
Thursday the weather said, “i’d like to be perfect today! I headed down to meet up with Erin + Blake at The Tin Roof Nashville on Demonbreun. It was the spot of their first date, and it was super fun to hear their story and how they hit it off so well! We spent some time there and then walked up to a little park and strolled around for a bit, listening to music, chatting, capturing some beautiful moments together. It was a fantastic morning. Love when my days start off this good!
Caitlin + Chad were a so much fun! They have an incredible dynamic and the way they openly love one another was so awesome to capture. We shot at the Bridge Building because that’s their wedding venue and we wanted to do a mini run through of photo locations for their wedding. We had a blast at Centennial Park for an Engagement Session with Emily + Daniel. We had planned for the week prior but after a quick glance at the radar and the dark clouds in the sky, we decided we should wait for a sunnier day. Last week we got to head out to Graystone Quarry for Courtney + Jake’s engagement shoot. We had moved the day around a little bit hoping for better weather, and we nailed it!
We met Lexi + Nash in downtown Nashville for their engagement session! We love it when our couples book an engagement session before their wedding. We get to know one another and get our dynamic down before their wedding. We started with Lexi + Nash at Centennial Park and ended the evening with drinks at Rarebird Rooftop Bar at Hotel Noelle.
